Choose a Layout:
Full Page Photos (Two-Sided): The image will fill the page and the layout will be side by side. Selecting this option will have an auto-fill feature. You can use it or bypass this by just clicking customize my book in the top right. You’ll get a 2nd pop-up, click continue.
Blank Theme (Two-sided): The layout will be side by side, but the project will not have any photo boxes and you'll have to add the photo boxes to the project.
Full Page Photos (Panoramic): The image will spread across both pages. Selecting this option will have an auto-fill feature. You can use it or bypass this by just clicking customize my book in the top right. You’ll get a 2nd pop-up, click continue.
Blank Theme (Panoramic): The layout will be will stretched across both pages and you'll need to add the photo boxes to the project.
Whichever layout option you choose, it can always be modified once you're in the project, using the Layout Tool or the Add Photo Box button under the Photo Icon in the left menu.
You can use the design tools available on our website, design them in photoshop, or use an outside source to design your project such as Pixellu or Fundy Designs. With predesigned pages, the final images need to be high resolution flattened jpg files. We ask the dpi be between 180 - 300, and the pages or spreads sized for the book options you selected. You can also use one of our templates located at the bottom of the page.
A 10x10 two-sided would be 10x10 inches, a panoramic spread would be 10x20 inches
A 12x12 two-sided would be 12x12 inches, a panoramic spread would be 12x24 inches.
10 spreads will equal 20 split side by side pages or 10 panoramic pages.
12 spreads will equal 24 split side by side pages or 12 panoramic pages.
The full page option is good for pre-designed split pages. Panoramic is good for pre-designed spreads.
Album Web Design Tips
- You cannot delete or add pages to the project, if you need to add or remove pages you will have to start over from the beginning. The pages come in set numbers due to how the binding is made.
- You cannot grab pages and slide them to another portion of the book, you'll have to redesign the page.
- The cover color cannot be changed once it is selected.
- Add the embossing to the cover in the shopping cart. Once you’ve created the project, add it to the cart, there will be an embossing icon under the album.
- Remember to save your project! Give it a name and you can come back to it later. You can find it under My Accounts, My Saved Projects. Once the project is added to the cart, it cannot be saved.
