Wood Products FAQ

Artsy offers an array of wood products:

How will the wood grain impact my image?

These products offer a great variety of texture from the wood grain, which is unique in each piece. The wood grain in your image preview may not exactly match the wood grain of your finished product. The direction of the wood grain may vary from piece to piece.

What colors look good on wood products?

White ink is not available for any wood product, and will not print. Also, light tones like pastels and some fair skin tones will not print. The wood texture will show through on that portion of the image.

We recommend previewing your product before printing darker images or photos in which faces are featured prominently.

Color Corrections are not available for products printed on wood.

My logo looks incorrect on the acrylic USB wood cap.

Is your file a png format? Our system won’t accept png format. Please reformat to a flattened jpg.

I just want the logo to print and not have it surrounded by the white background!

Wood products do not print white so only the logo will print on the wood cap portion. Convert your file to jpg, upload it to the project, click the preview button in the top right-hand corner, and you’ll see the preview with no white background.
